Terms

Last updated October 14, 2026

The short version

These terms are an agreement between you and Carmie Inc. (“CARMIE”, “we”). They cover this website, the waitlist, pre-orders of the Nono doll, and Nono's online side once it opens. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

Who can buy

Nono is a collectible for ages 15 and up. It is not designed as a toy for young children. To place an order you must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian place it with you. The online side is for adults 18 and over.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist means we may email you about Nono, including when pre-orders open. It does not reserve a doll or a price. You can leave at any time by writing to hello@carmieworld.com.

Pre-orders

Shipping, returns and damage

Nono's online side

Tapping your phone to the doll opens Nono's online side. It is in development, and it will open after the dolls ship. When it opens, the first release is included with the doll. Features may change, and some may be added later as paid extras; you will always see the price before paying for anything.

Nono's online behaviour is generated by software. Nono is a fictional character, and what Nono says or does online can be unexpected. It is not advice and should not be relied on.

If you send Nono a sentence, a photo or anything else, you keep ownership of it and give us permission to store and use it to run Nono's online side for you. Only send things you have the right to share, and nothing unlawful, hateful or about someone else's private life.

Our work

CARMIE, Nono, the doll design, the characters, the art and this website belong to Carmie Inc. Buying a doll does not give you rights to use them commercially. Sharing photos and videos of your own Nono is welcome.

Limits

We work hard to keep the site and the online side running, but we provide them as they are and cannot promise they will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim about a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of California. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in San Mateo County, California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it locally.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Orders are covered by the terms in place when you placed them.
