Privacy

The short version

We collect as little as we can. Today that is one thing: your email address, if you join the waitlist. We do not sell your information, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

What we collect

• Waitlist: the email address you type into the form.
• Orders, once pre-orders open: your name, email, shipping address, phone number if you give it, and what you ordered, including the hair color you chose. Payment is handled by Shopify; we do not see your full card number.
• Visiting the site: like any website, our host receives standard technical data with each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. We do not use it to identify you.
• Nono's online side: it has not opened yet. Before it does, we will update this policy to describe exactly what it collects and which providers process it.

How we use it

• To tell you when pre-orders open, and to send occasional news about Nono. Every email lets you leave.
• To take payment, pack the doll you chose, ship it, and tell you where it is.
• To answer you when you write to us.
• To keep the site secure and working, and to meet tax, accounting and legal duties.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who helps us run this

These providers process information for us, only to provide their service:

• Netlify hosts this website.
• Web3Forms delivers waitlist signups to our inbox.
• Shopify runs checkout and order management, once pre-orders open.
• Supabase will store accounts and doll ownership, once the online side opens.

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our customers or the company.

How long we keep it

Waitlist emails are kept until you leave the list or the list is no longer needed. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your choices

Write to hello@carmieworld.com to leave the waitlist, to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We answer within 30 days. Every marketing email also has a way to unsubscribe.

Do Not Track

We do not track you across other websites, so we treat every visit the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

Ages

Nono is a collectible for ages 15 and up, and the online side is for adults 18 and over. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child under 13 has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Security and location

We use providers with strong security practices and limit who on our team can see personal information. No system is perfectly secure. Information is stored and processed in the United States.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect.
